Conscious Oral Sedation
Oral Sedation. A sedative pill taken by mouth, is safe, convenient and economical. When administered by a qualified dentist such as our dentist, Oral sedation can be more effective and deliver a deeper relaxation state than other forms of sedation. When you come for your free initial consultation, the dentist will review your medical history and will determine if oral sedation is the best sedation option for you.
The Oral Sedation Procedure
The procedure is simple. When you arrive for your treatment you will be given an oral sedative which will put you into a relaxed and comfortable state. You will be awake but very drowsy. The time you spend in the dentist's chair will feel like minutes. Before you know it, the procedure is over, and you will have little recollection of the entire experience.
Laughing Gas Conscious Sedation
Laughing Gas is one of the safest and the lightest forms of sedation available. It is non-allergenic and non-irritating. The gas also tends to reduce gag reflexes and saliva flow. Patients will feel totally relaxed during their treatment when sedated with laughing gas.
The Laughing Gas Sedation Procedure
A small mask will be placed over the patient’s nose and adjusted so that the patient is comfortable. At this time, the patient will be breathing 100% oxygen. The dentist will gradually introduce laughing gas. Once the patient feels completely relaxed, the procedure will begin.
At the conclusion of the sedation dentistry treatment, the patient will once again receive 100% oxygen (for a minimum of 3 - 5 min). At the end of this time, the person should feel back to normal.
IV Sedation
IV Sedation or "Intravenous Sedation" is administered through a drug directly into a vein. IV Sedation is the most preferred and predictable method of sedation where deep sedation is desired. Profound state of relaxation and amnesia is achieved during IV sedation.
The IV Sedation Procedure
An extremely thin needle is inserted by our anesthesiologist into a vein close to the surface of the skin. IV drip consists of an anti-anxiety medication which puts the patient into a state of deep relaxation. Time will appear to pass very quickly and you will not recall much, or perhaps even nothing at all, of what happened.
A local anesthetic will also be administered in conjunction with this method of dental sedation. When you come for your free initial consultation, the dentist will review your medical history and will determine if IV sedation is the best sedation option for you.
Pulse Oximeter & Blood Pressure Monitoring
During all sedation appointments, the blood pressure and pulse are continually monitored on our patients. In addition, we monitor the oxygen saturation levels of the blood with a pulse oximeter that gently clips onto the finger.

They helped me to be calm during the whole procedure, and I didn't see that I was done till Dr. Hill said take a look at your tooth. She is the best dental specialist ever. She is extremely cautious. After the tooth removal, she messaged me to check on my tooth. Omg, I never have had such a great experience like this. Starting now and into the foreseeable future she will be my dental specialist. They easily accepted my PPO insurance as well. I personally hate parking myself, so I would recommend using 12$ all day valet parking.

Is it unusual to state that I like my dental doctor? Since I do. I moved to Brentwood I'm so happy that I can continue going to Dr. Hill.
The service in Smile Boutique Beverly Hills is perfect while workers (especially Angela at the front desk and Olga, who did financing) are welcoming. Dr. Hill is my dentist and I genuinely love her. She recalls specific facts about me and we usually have warm conversations during the visit!
Obviously that Smile Boutique thinks profoundly about building good relationships with their clients and keeping them cheerful. A valid example: the last time I went I had booked a cleaning (with dr. Hill obviously) and he was away. They messaged me to ensure that it was alright that I saw another hygienist! That is a definitive in client benefit on the off chance that you ask me. The staff were nicer and the dentists were absolutely the best I've ever met. Gave me my smile back without trying to scare me, upsell me or any drama. Wisdom teeth removed
Hi very one I got all 4 of my wisdom tooth pulled in one day and it’s was great. So here wat happen I was ok the whole time pried to my appointment (I must admit I was a lil excited), wen I got in the rooms and seen everything l got nervous, but after they hooked me up (put me to sleep) I was good. I was done sooner then expected. Went in at 9:30 a.m. was done at 10:30. Wen I got home and rinsed my mouth out it was a lot of blood. I would recommend more mouth Gauls and another ice pack. But over all I’m good sleepy, and a lil pain to let me kno I just go my tooth pulled.

Best dental office in town!!! It's one of The cleanest offices I've ever been in. The staff and the doctors are so friendly and so understanding. They sit down and actually take time with you and go through everything with you!!! The x-ray system they have there is so easy!!! Best experience!!! I highly recommend this this office to everyone.
